1 Leg Straddles

A similar exercise to the straddle jump, however working in an alternate leg manner, is more suited for the less conditioned.

Start with one foot at the top of a secure step box and alternate placing one of the feet on to the ground, whilst keeping one foot on the step box at all times.

Focus on making a small straddle jumps across the step box so that you can change your foot on the top of the box.

You can make the exercise harder by placing weights in your hand - Beginners aim for a box no higher than 4 inches.

Stretch and Warm Up before you commence any exercise and aim to finish with some good stretching to let your body and mind recover.
