Supine Lying Scissor Legs

A good home exercise for developing the muscles of your side buttocks, (Gluteus minimus and medius) and those of your main gluteus maximus muscle.

Lie flat on your front, resting your head on your arms, raising both feet a few inches off the floor.

Smoothly raise your right foot and cross it over the left leg, then return the foot back, and repeat again with your left foot.

Aim to keep the movement smooth and slow, focusing on feeling the muscles in your butt being worked.

Avoid excessive twisting from your lower spine throughout the exercise.

Stretch and Warm Up before you commence any exercise and aim to finish with some good stretching to let your body and mind recover.
